I hate the idea of hanging food......lots of time and hassle and quite often the right tree isn't around. I chose to go as odorless as possible but still use a bear canister which really helps dissuade mice and other vermin as well.

Looking into a backpacking trip this summer and the 2 or 3 lbs of additional weight a canister will add is not especially attractive. Enter in Ursak s29. Check it out........
