I watch the you-tube of test and wonder if I'd ever eat what was in the bag after and if the now very frustrated bear would try to take it out on me in the tent.

I think I like hanging and I have to say that my sons and I look forward to the ritual of finding the perfect tree, getting the rope up, and hoisting up the pack.  And we do hang an entire CCS deluxe food pack - which now seems like a bargain compared to the equivalent capacity in ursacks - 8 of them.
