oofda! Sorry, what I thought would be another simple update took way longer than I thought it would and I'm still not nearly satisfied.

I've been upgrading sever security over the last several weeks and I didn't break anything new since breaking PM notifications via email a while ago. I was still getting hundreds of spam emails a day and that's now down to a handful but the board continued to have more bogus registrations than I could tolerate. So….

I know people hate change and unfortunately, I'm not done tweaking… So, what noticeable differences do you hate or like the most? (Keeping in mind this is a group trip.)

There are way too many different combinations for me to check them all so I thought I'd make it live and see what shakes out. You won't break anything and I'll do my best to fix what you discover is broken.

btw - you may want to check your profile (User CP).

Somewhere between WTF and I missed my daily fix......I realized this has become an obsesssion.  I do like the new looks, will have to cruise around and look at it a bit more.  Great job db - thanks for you efforts.

User CP>Profile>Options can fix your clock. Years ago I bastardized the gender switch to display BWCA/Quetico… That was easy, for a hack like me at the time. I decided it wasn't worth the effort on a subsequent minor update.

If you chose a different template, look, style or whatever in the past…  Blue is a current option I won't change (probably). The default will change and I'll come up with a name for what most of you are seeing now when the default "look" changes enough for anyone to notice.

I understand the, if it ain't broke don't fix it thing… but the forum was compromised to the point of being broken on my end. I'm always looking for the easiest path even if it takes a little hardship to eventually relax and enjoy for a moment.

A new feature is the events calendar at bottom of page. Great addition. It looks like it can be used to post such things as canoe trips, wing nights, any events with interest for canoeists. Thanks db!! 8-)

I'm glad everyone seems to like the new look. I'm also pleased folks are concerned enough about what time it shows to mention it. This place is timeless man! Get with the program. ;)

The only complaints I've received were clock issues so if I told you something like this:

Click...
User CP>Profile>Options>(enter password)>Time Zone: choose a timezone that pleases you

Don't forget to hit the "Save Changes" button on the bottom.

My question is, who's clock did I mess up with the change I just made.

User CP>Profile>Options can fix your clock. Blah blah blah
