Anyone crossed into Canada with OvaEasy Egg crystals since the new rules on eggs and raw chicken went into effect?

Yes, but I didn't tell anyone.

I crossed the border at Fort Frances about 3 weeks ago.  They asked if I had any eggs and I told her that we had 2 dozen from Ohio.  She said that was fine and let us pass through.

Those are processed and packaged eggs, taking out any concern about bacteria or disease.  I cannot believe they would be even considered as 'eggs and raw chicken'  I'm headed in next week and will be taking OvaEasy for the first time - just tried them out and they are great.  Like Kerry, I don't plan on even mentioning them.

Just returned from 10 days in the Q - awesome!  We crossed in at Prairie Portage and no one even asked about eggs.  The OvaEasy eggs were great.  They worked as well as fresh eggs in the French toast (try it with King's Hawaiian bread, sliced or round loaf...mmmmm) and scrambled eggs that we had.  The crew couldn't discern a difference from fresh eggs.

My wife and I crossed the border into Fort Francis on August 5.  We were asked about eggs and said we didn't have any.  We, in fact, did not have any eggs.  Then we stopped at a Safeway Store which is on the main street and not out of your way and purchased eggs at the Safeway Store.  The Safeway Store was a very nice store.

When I crossed at Warroad, MN I asked because I had a resupply coming in with another party that contained a lot of Ova Easy eggs. He looked at them and said it should be no problem. They are on the lookout for the raw egg product packed in the little milk carton like boxes. When my resupply person crossed a few weeks later the egg question came up. The paddler said he had dried eggs. They had him pull over and in ignorance of what Ova Easy packages looked like he showed them a lexon bottle full of Nido powdered milk. They said eggs like that should be no problem. Never got a definite answer out of either crossing guard.
