I have done the Namekagen from Hayward to the the Danbury take out on the St. Croix. There are no portages over a 100 yards so the amount of gear to portage should not be an issue. I am also starting to do the solo trip so I am interested in the vast knowledge base here has to say. My experiences on trips with my son when he was in high school was to much food.
