I've been using Naglene Cantene's for the last 5 yrs or so. I have 2-32oz ones, and 2-48oz. They've held up well except for 1-32oz one that developed a leak because I kept setting it down a rough rocky areas instead of on a padded area.

All of the bag have a gusseted bottom, so if you use a gravity type water filter, they'll stand upright and you just keep an eye on them.

A little trick I came up with for those of us that like a cool drink on a hot day is to go to the bank and get some canvas coins sacks, or something similar as long as it's canvas and big enough to fit your water bottle inside, but not too bulky.

I put my traveling Cantene in the bag and secured it with a Bungee Bob around the neck of bottle. As you travel, keep the bag wet and under your seat or out of the sun. The evaporation will keep your water nice and cool even on a hot day.

For little bags like that vapur bottle, use a old cotton tube-sock, roll it down and secure. Same principle as the canvas bag.
