The city of Ely today announced the developement of a motorized canoe paddle that when properly utilized will cleverly evade the ban on motorized travel in the BWCA. It seems they think this spark a big increase in users of the wilderness.

The makers of that motorized paddle are also the people making that anti-gravity portage yoke that allows you to just pull your loaded canoe across portages. ;) ::)

ST - I engage flying-portage monkeys to perform that task. Lots of those banana-eaters are looking for work these days since my friend Dorothy liquidated their former company.
