Title: Dry/powdered vs dehydrated foods Post by nctry_Ben on Apr 3rd, 2016 at 9:44pm
Example... Instead of dehydrating spaghetti sauce I've been making it with powdered tomatoes. My question, does a person have to drink more water when using things powdered like that? I've been trying it out a lot this winter and I can't get enough water. Coincidence? I was on blood thinners up until last week. I like the powder because spaghetti sauce for instance took me fourteen hours to dehydrate and still weighed more than my powdered concoction. I'm trying powdered and freeze dried cheese, powdered butter... All kinds of stuff I've found.
