If I come across any of you gents in QP or elsewhere, I'll volunteer my sherpa skills. I can jackrabbit across the portages if I have to but I generally move at leisurely double-portage speed these days. When I solo, I've convinced myself that there is no rush to get anywhere fast. Perhaps it's with the realization that I need to pace my rate of travel.
