This is not intended to be a debate on pros/cons of taking fishfinders into the wilderness. Rather, I'm looking for recommendations. I'm not conversant in technology and my old Eagle Cuda 242 is toast. I'm looking for a replacement. I want something black/white (monochromatic) and low power drain for use with batteries (probably AA lithium). Don't need bells & whistles. Just a basic unit. I'm looking for something I can buy. Not units no longer available. 8-)
