Hard to believe we’re less than two weeks away!

I just wanted to put out another call for the Saturday night QJ dinner. We’re again bringing in barbecue from Smoky Jon’s, and I’m going to get the order in later this week.

As a reminder, we’ll be having it at the Country Inn & Suites in Monona-same place as last year. We’ll gather after Old Salt and Wally13 finish their entertaining presentation. Food will arrive 6:30-ish.

And don’t worry- if you have last minute changes in plans, you can always just show up. We’ll have plenty of food, but I just want to get a decent ballpark.

Without a doubt, QJ has the best dinner plan in Madtown for Copia. Smoky Jons BBQ is truly awesome. We will post menu in a day or two, but we can promise you that you won't eat better or have better company on Saturday evening.   (You need to Login or Register

If you will be in Madtown, and haven't yet signed up, it's time to get aboard. The information you get in our room will be better than any of the presentations (except ours, of course  ;) ).  8-)

If this is making you hungry, the only cure is to sign up no later than Wednesday of next week, bring $15 to give to MuleLars, and attend, having the best company in Madison. ;)

We will also have a donation can both nights to cover room rental of $100 per night. Any extra will carry over to next year. 8-)

I can see I need to change my normal Copia schedule.  I typically drive up (6 hours) on Friday morning, spend the night and then have to leave by 2:00PM Saturday,  missing most of the QJ festivities.  I suppose a 2nd nights stay is in order to get full benefit of the QJ experience?  I hope at least to say 'Hello" to some of you wandering the show.  I always  seem to run onto Portage Dog a time or two while there and he always encourages me to attend the "beyond the show" events.

OS, I'll be at the CI&S after the show on Sat. but have dinner plans with friends from Ely.  Since I am staying there this year, I'll be back later to kibitz, assuming you're all still hanging out in the big room.  I am definitely in for pizza on Friday night.

Gentlemen,  My apologies, but I have done a poor job of explaining myself.  My comment about staying a second night was intended to mean better planning next year.  Myself and a friend will be at the show, but we have to leave around 2:00PM Saturday, so we will not be at the BRBQ Saturday evening.  Sorry for the misunderstanding.
