DentoDoc & I TRIED to tip our truck-in driver - heavily - last year.  He hauled a couple loads for us across the Beaverhouse put-in portage, unasked, at a time  when I was still recovering from fusion surgery in my back.    Needless to say, I/we  you were most appreciative!    The guy wouldn't take a penny of it!  He said, "Hey, it's my job. "

That particular outfitter really didn't need to earn any more "customer loyalty" with me.  I was already hooked.  Nevertheless, it amounted to yet another small reason why he will see me again & again, year after year.
