I have had my joint problems also. 25 years ago I had a noticeable limp most of the time because of knee pain.  I was taking antihistamines for chronic hives.  I found that after being off the antihistamines for a year my knee pain went away. 2 years ago I took Mucines for a sinus infection.  It worked great on clearing the congestion and the infection went away BUT it took 6 months for the knee problems to go almost away.
