Really interesting, thanks! I've actually been trying to figure out a lightweight means of charging my phone for the long trip I'm planning for this summer, and it looks like this could be the answer. Assuming it's not cloudy for 7 straight days. :)

I have an inReach satellite communication device and sync it with my phone for sending/receiving messages when I'm off the grid. It's far easier than using the device on its own if you're sending a lot of messages.
