Jimbo,
Glad to hear your bionic parts are performing well. My hip feels like it belongs to a 45 year old (I’m 61) and has allowed me to become much more active this summer. Two Quetico canoe trips, albeit not like the epic adventures of a few who report here, yourself included, a moderately strenuous 8 day long adventure in Iceland, hauling logs and cutting firewood almost daily, and lots of exercise walks. I still plan a week of Elk hunting in New Mexico and a backpacking trip to the Porcupine Mountains before the snow flies. It’s been 7 months since the implantation and I still feel some discomfort and stiffness but once I get moving it’s all good. |
