Yeah, that was not that close either. I tried it with my point and shoot zoom and got a dot. ;D

What I want to know, Magic, is how you hold it so steady, especially at that level of zoom. That is really impressive to me, especially for someone with your advanced age. :)

I'm not kidding. Is there a trick to it?

Image stabilization built into the camera.
I have a video taken at the same time and I can’t keep the bird in the frame.

That Image Stabilization feature is on my Samsung Tl210 camera too. I think it's on most point and shoot type digital cameras. Makes a big difference for people who are not that into photography but want some decent pictures.
