After reading Marten's post about the Pink Toenails I think I've found the solution. ;) ;D

Just wave my bare pink toes in the water and when they come into take a bite, I flip them up on shore. :-? ;D ;D

Of course Mr Snapping Turtle might be into Pink too, so I'll have to keep a sharp eye out for that.
