Title: Re: Going Alone by Michael Furtman Post by TomT on Jul 4th, 2019 at 2:05pm
I think the idea of expiring on a canoe trip solo is very romantic. But then I think of the reality afterwards. I mean, will your body lay there for days or weeks decomposing? Surely the mice and birds would have a field day and just maybe the wolves would too.
Then there's the whole body recovery. Do I really want to put others through this? I think one last good trip then make sure all the affairs are in order before .... I was going to say something about suicide but I can't bring myself to go there. I guess I'll have to see how it plays out. |
