Title: Re: Copia 2020 Meals Post by Old Salt on Jan 18th, 2020 at 1:20am
Lynda,
I don’t remember the technical name for my surgery and it was probably different, at least in some respects. I had what they call the ‘widow maker’. The primary artery was totally plugged. They put me in a wheelchair and gave me a room until they could do the surgery the next day. During the surgery they almost lost me twice. They told me they had a hard time getting me off the heart-lung machine and I was on it double the usual time. I had a very long and difficult recovery. There were times I wasn’t sure I could push through. I guess that what I was thinking when I posted earlier was that we both have very serious conditions and that there isn’t much margin for error. I am praying that your surgery goes well and that you will be back on your feet soon. I’m looking forward to seeing your smiling face 8-) at Copia. 8-) |
