If I'm not mistaken, Jimbo and I were the 2nd and 3rd customers to use this facility (other than students), when it was being operated as Quetico College School.  At that stage, Michael Heaton (Head Master) was in the process of reviving the facility, but even then ... well let me put it this way ... have you ever been tense from a long drive and suddenly find yourself in an "oasis?"  Shoulders drop, a deep breath.  This is pretty close to heaven!

Well, now you have some idea what this facility is like.  Not only do you get a very nice room.  Not only (at least historically) do you get excellent meals.  During our visit, we went to a "game room" (actually a building which is where the swimming pool and if I remember correctly a small basketball court) were located.  Tennis courts, conference buildings, cabins, well kept walkways for a leisurely walk after dinner ... maybe even go down by the lake.  All of this set back from the highway where it is very quiet ... except for the occasional take-off/landing of a float plane on the lake.

I mean ... COME ON!  Don't second guess this one.  It's an absolute gem.
