He has some bushcraft skills.
I liked he had a mesh head net. I have one just like it.
I also have some bug bite proof thin gloves I can wear.

I don't consider getting eaten alive by bugs a sign of how tough you are. More like how unprepared for what you should know is waiting in the deep woods.  :P ;D ;D
