Mike,
You mentioned ospreys in your post. Interestingly, I have not seen any ospreys in Quetico the past 10 years. I used to see ospreys circling high in the sky and diving into the water catching fish. Seeing such a massive bird go completely into the water and then muscle out of the water in one big swoop ... is quite a thrill. Anyone see any Osprey activity on recent trips? |
