I looked for them on the open water on Fenske but did not see any (near dusk). Post sauna cooling on deck I heard them crying back and forth between lakes.

That must be so cool to hear from your house. My gold finches showed up yesterday at our feeder out the kitchen window. We also have a young and an older bunny under the shed. And I threw some almonds out for Ed the squirrel. :) :)
