Several years ago and friend and I went into the Quetico on short notice, the second week of October. Expecting and hoping for some foul weather experience. We came prepared for the expected weather that never showed. In shirtsleeves mid day and cooler at nights. Caught some bass and a couple of unintended Lakers. Still a great trip.
