If the border is open we want to explore more in Atikaki. I always say I am done with early season trips but being in such withdrawal I need to get out there as soon as the ice skates are not needed. First trip would be to Wallace Lake and down the Wanipigow, up the Broadleaf and over to the Gammon River at Aikens Lake and take it to the Bloodvein and then up that river to the Sassiginnigak River. Upstream to a lake of the same name and a  long portage back to the Bloodvein and across the Tea Pail portage back to the Gammon and then head for the Obukowin Portages back to the Wanipigow. WOW, I feel better just after writing that out!!
