Thunder & lightning has never bothered me all that much in my hammock. Rather, I am more concerned about becoming a piņata for a storm-driven tree, a bear seeking breakfast, or a moose on its morning stroll down to the water hole... the latter instance being something that nearly DID happen to me on Cirrus Lake at a camp near Sue Falls.
Since then, I've been more cognizant about avoiding straddling game trails with my hammock shelter set-up. Jimbo 8-) |
