hi all. anyone have any first hand info about access to baptism lake going from french lake via the french river / baptism creek? i have been given conflicying info by park staff. one said the route is very shallow (especially now with low water levels) and is very difficult to get there. another said the low water conditions will make it easier and drier to get there. any thoughts? i am also trying to confirm how many actual portages there are and how long it might take the average solo traveller to get there. any help appreciated.
