I have done it more than once.  As M_M said be aware you can miss Baptism Creek.  If you find yourself going east on a straight section you missed it.  It takes me more than one day to get to Cache Lake.  There is only one decent camp on trousers and it is a short day if you stop there.  If you go on it is a long portage to get to Cache.  The last time I did it I filled up on water and trousers and started the portage.  About 3 hours later I hung my hammock off the portage and spent the night. Heard a moose walk down the portage during the night.
