There was a guy in Ohio with a warrant for doing something similar. Apparently, he recently fled the state and is reportedly hiding out somewhere in the upper northwest....

Nah. Your sources of info are suspect....just got an enhanced license from WA state this morning....one would've thought that having an outstanding warrant and being on the lam would have popped up on their system....

So you landed in WA? I thought you were California-bound. It's a bit longer portage back to canoe country but I'm sure you will make it this upcoming season. ;)

Things do not look good for a trip to BWCA/Q this season....house being built and move-in date looks to be between late-June to late-August. So, I'll probably scout some less populated paddling/fishing areas closer to Washington for 2022...

Hey, anybody here have any suggestions for paddling/fishing in the Washington area? If you do, please send a PM...much appreciated in advance...

Downside: red squirrels allegedly run at about 6-7 times normal size in this area. Nicknamed "Little Sasquatch" by some....
