Just for giggles, I downloaded the GIMP photo-editing app to see if I could figure out the length of that smallie.

Way over my technical skills but using the known height of the man, I found that height in pixels. Converted pixels to inches.

Then I measured the fish. Did the same thing.

  I might be way off BUT I get approximately 27.6 inches for that smallie. That puts it over 10 lbs.

Ontario record ( one I found) is 9.84 lbs and 24 inches. IF I did it right, that smallie is bigger than that or damn close.
