Title: Got to visit the IGLOO BAR on Lake of the Woods
Post by Wally13 on Feb 4th, 2023 at 3:52pm
I came across this video from "Minnesota Live" about this IGLOO BAR set up 2 miles from the shore on frozen Zippel Bay on Lake of the Woods. It's not new ... snow mobilers and ice fisherman have been going there for the past 10 years.

I have to put the Igloo Bar on my bucket list of places I need to visit.

We were thinking of going to the Lake of the Woods when Canada was closed, but never quite put it together.  I haven't ice fished since I was about 12.  Ice fishing was more challenging then.  We sat out on the ice on 5 gallon buckets and froze our fingers and our butts.  Maybe I should try the new indoor ice fishing.  Remember when hockey was played outdoors.

I have a remote off grid log cabin about 30 miles south of Zipple Bay. Stop by if you head for the ice.
