is when Mount St. Helens blew a gasket.

I forget if it coincided with my first or second Q trip but damn, I remember there being some great sunsets for a few years thereafter.

I think I was graduating high school then....and dreaming of travel and adventure....after college. Or maybe they were one in the same?

I was in second grade at the time. I would make my first Quetico trip 5 years later.
