I ran into something in the Q I've never experienced before. Martha and I found an unoccupied campsite on an island on Sturgeon just before entering the Maligne River. Some fellow trippers paddled up and told us they were already camped on the island. We couldn't see anything left there of anywhere around. They expected us to leave, no humble please, or offers of alternatives nearby, just leave.

I'll just leave it there, but I'm interested in hearing your responses. I'll fill in in how it went later. No judgment for any responses.
