Just wanted to report back and let those of you that helped know that I was able to land a couple of lake trout. We covered about 50 miles over a 5 night trip so we were on the move quite a bit, but I feel like I fished pretty hard and still only caught two. So I'm thinking I still have a lot to learn. Perhaps stop going in September would be a good start ;D. Thanks again all for the advice. I'll pull together a trip report for those interested. Colby
