Earlier this summer, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Parks released the Background Information document for public review. To proceed with this phase of the plan review process, Ontario Parks will be hosting several open houses in the coming weeks. Open houses have been scheduled for:

In addition, by taking advantage of our presence at The Quetico Foundation's Annual Dinner, we are able to offer an open house in Toronto that will be held on Tuesday October 9th, 2007 from 3 to 5 pm at the Vaughn Estates, 2075 Bayview Avenue (   (You need to Login or Register for directions). The Quetico Foundation will be holding their Annual Dinner at the Vaughn Estates following the open house. This is an opportunity to learn more about the Foundation and to offer your support to their programs and activities. The open houses will provide opportunity to discuss with Ontario Parks staff the Background Information and issues identified to date. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to raise additional issues and options. If you are unable to attend this meeting, you are welcome to submit your comments by mail, fax or email.
