States "paddled" in?

In another thread, a discussion started about what states people had traveled to (I am all but Alaska and Oklahoma).  But maybe a more appropriate topic for this group is in what states have you undertaken "self propelled water travel in some sort of craft".  I tried to make this a bit wide-ranging to include canoes, kayaks, and rafts (without motors).

Those traveling on waterways that form the border between multiple states get to count all the states they have been adjacent to (if you travel the Mississippi between Illinois and Missouri, you can count those two but can't add Louisiana unless you actually travel the river by that state).

My list: CA ID OR UT MT AR MO MN IL FL SC WV VA VT NH ME

Azalea,

You've paddled Iowa and Illinois (albeit perhaps on the Mississippi River), but not Wisconsin?  We'll have to see about getting you up here sometime.

As for me, I can only say I've paddled Wisconsin, Minnesota and the great province of Ontario.

Jackfish,

Perhaps the biggest challenge in this thread is knowing your state abbreviations.
My list has been corrected to include ID in place of IA.  I goofed on the abbreviation of Idaho.  I get no credit for Iowa.

No prob, Azalea.  We Wisconsinites let people who don't know their state abbreviations into the state!  Lots of places to paddle, too.  Smiley

I have paddled in MN, WI, IL, CO, & in Quetico. I guess I don't travel all that much.
