Hi guys... here's a launching point for setting up a profile. My thought is that we could kick the questions around for a few days, and make additions/deletions/modifications where needed. Then those who choose could copy and paste into a post, and fill in their own answers.
Let me know what you think.  8)

Here is another question to gauge personality:
Other than illness or injury what events or conditions would make you want to quit a trip early and head home? Bugs, weather, fish not biting, incompatibility?
Tripper, your list is certainly thorough.

After answering our list of questions. (Whew!) I started thinking that although I've enjoyed answers to the full list. A lite version (as in just the basics) would be helpful in understanding where people are coming from when they say the things they do around here.

You can make up your own list or pick and choose if you want to too.

AND once you accomplish that great feat...

IF you wanted to add your paddler's profile to your board profile as a "Website URL:" link -- To link to the post above for example, click quote and you get the following:
Code
[quote author=Beavers link=1108971089/0#6 date=1167446936]Just copy the questions above then paste and respond to them [url=http://www.quietjourney.com/community/YaBB.cgi?num=1109300994/0]here.[/url] [/quote]

Then put
http://www.quietjourney.com/community/YaBB.cgi?num=
in front of the 1108971089/?#? part of the quote and you get http://www.quietjourney.com/community/YaBB.cgi?num=1108971089/0#6 --
for example

Then put that complete URL into the "Website URL:" field of your board profile. (Or ask and I can help)

Why? Just in case you someday say something either really stupid or profound... it would make it easier for the rest of us to get a clue which it one it might be. Grin
