A few of us localy got together yesterday for earth day.  It was my first time out this year, and though I've paddled the Big Sioux frequently in many different areas, this was an area north of town perhaps thirty miles or so, that I had never had the opportunity to explore before.  I think the 4 1/2 hour float was about 11 miles? It was good to be on the water again.
