Hey,
I'm visiting my Daughter in Wisconsin and would like to do some canoe camping. I'll need to rent a boat and need suggestions on good destinations. We are both experienced campers and canoest. Thanks,Roger.

Frogge,

What part of Wisconsin does she reside?  How far are you willing to travel? Scroll down to page three for posts on the Bois Brule and the Flambeau.  The Brule has a canoe livery. The St. Croix might be good one to consider.  You might pick up a guide book.  I can recommend author Mike Svob, "Paddling Northern Wisconsin", and I think he has written another for the southern part. Either would be available in local (Wisconsin) B.Dalton and Bookworld stores.

Michael Duncanson has written a guide book for Southern WI.
The Lower Wisconsin river is a great canoe camping river in the southern half of the state despite the crowded sections on some weekends. 75 miles, hundreds of sandbars (some quite remote) wildlife and great fishing.
