Hot dry conditions persist across Quetico and as a result there is a ban on all open fires.   This ban will continue at least until September 17th after which temperatures are forecast to drop and rainfall to begin.   At this moment there are 16 wild fires burning in Quetico.   Most of these are small and due to cool, lengthening nights are not expected to spread quickly.   A list of active fires is attached.
