Last week I was shopping online and came across an old BWJ for sale Fall issue 1989.  Upon the find I quickly took a look to see what articles were in this issue.  Yes I found three of the stories I had been looking for in print. 
Those being
The Last Great Canoe Race

Little Lake - Big Trout
               by the late Bob Cary
and
Quetico Park's Cabin 16
               by Shan Walshe
After several minutes of leafing through it, I quickly notice a couple things. 
Those were:

The BIG FISH in this issue was being held by a legend
"Bob Cary"
 
Canoes in the pictures were not kevlar.

And there wasn't one single .com or email addy.

Now to renew my subscription to the BWJ there were three cards in this issue I'm hoping the money saved will out weigh the money spent.   That New/18 year old 4 color map will look nice on my office wall.
