Just finished this one. Great story, with some superb color photographs.

It's not a story about a fed-up guy living on his own in the woods, but a heart-warming, realistic true story about a guy who simply loved the outdoors. When he retired, he had an idea: build a cabin in the mountains and try living there for a bit. He hand-built an incredible log cabin over the course of two years, and when it was done, he moved in. He had a friend fly him supplies and mail once in a while, but mostly he hunted, fished, and worked on his home, keeping a daily journal. The book is just a collection of his journals and photographs.

A++ must read.
