he's probably related to that guy in the motorhome who sued GM or whoever it was, because they didn't tell him that cruise control wasn't the same thing as autopilot, and no, he shouldn't get up out of the driver's seat to go in back for a cup of coffee.

Isn't that the guy, who's wife sued GE , because it didn't say in the user manual that DRYING your cat in the micro-wave is a no-no Grin

  I'm sure as GPS becomes cheaper and offered in more and more vehicles, these stories will get even more prevalent.
  I'm sure that eventually we'll have some Q/BW paddling stories of people who followed their GPS without question even though the compass and visual cues didn't support what the GPS was telling them Grin

I suspect most of us who have been exploring the outdoors have at some point followed an inaccurate map a ways before that "ahah" moment hits and we decide  maybe we need another plan.  It is not so different.
