A Naturalist's Guide to the Arctic, by E. C. Pielou

Contents; sky, climate & atmosphere, terrain, seas, plant life, birds, mammels, fish, insects

interesting explanation of mirages caused by the atmosphere that caused troubles for the early arctic explorers.
