any recommendations for a canoe seat for a wenonah kingfisher? the one i presently have is from gander mtn that buckeles undeneath, but i doesn't give much back support.

Check out the Crazy Creek Canoe Chairs. I have Model #2, which has a bit higher back for more support. You can pull the side straps tight, and it does give some support.
