I'm planning on entering at Lund in early July, and was looking at the portages on the park map from there to Gammon... seems like a lot of long ones!  Anybody on QJ travelled that way before?

They may be long but are fairly flat. We went through the route from Lund to Indian House last summer. The first three were pretty muddy and soft from all the rain last summer. The little pond between the first two is where you enter and exit on floating bog. The 950 from Indian House starts with a short climb and then becomes a great walk through the woods. The 2000 from North Prairie intersects an ATV trail used by rice harvesters and is the easiest walking I have done in the park. If the water is high you may be back in your canoe for the end. The 400 and 600 near Upper Gammon Lake have been combined for a 700 meter portage. I like math like that.
