French River/ fox creek to fox bay

Hey guys and gals,
I did a week solo over labor day weekend and encountered some of the same heavy winds that several have commented on. The trip started on the French River (N. of Toronto). After about 8 km of french river travel, that included powerboats and cottages, I managed a tricky find of Fox Creek. Another 8 km or so put me into rather remote Fox Bay which is part of Georgian bay. It is a truly superb trip. One gets the feeling of being in a very remote and wild area immediately after leaving the confines of the French River. Fox Creek does not have any origins in the French River and there is no obvious portage so it is a tad tricky but part of the fun. Trip report sometime this winter.
