Being extremely allergic to poison ivy, I welcomed the opportunity to minimize the need to squat while attending to nature's call on a late fall trip to BWCAW.  I bought  the much advertised Go Girl Female Urination Device followed the suggestion to practice at home to get master the tool.  The gadget worked beautifully, elimiating the need to squat, reducing the amount of clothing needing adjustment for the task (thereby minimizing mosquito bites) and making the "elimination process" more efficient.  I've found the funnel  to be handy for a variety of outdoor activities including cross country skiing, fishing, tripping etc.

It may depend on how long the name is  Grin

There was the lady J ... I'm sorry I have to ask. Not that I care all that much but I went to the site and it stated urine is sterile. Once upon a time I got severely flamed for stating that "fact" as a prelude to something else. Anyway, forgive my asking but $9 isn't disposable so ... rinse it off, dry it out ... I'm at a loss w/o cliche terms but I'm pretty sure someone may ask me how to work that thing.  Embarrassed

The balls in your court?   Grin

Jane Jacob Jingle Heimer-Schmidt?

The sterility of urine is dependant on the health of the pee-er.  Bladder infections & whatnot - I'm no doctor.  Hospitals treat it as a toxic substance.  99% of the time you're likely ok, but is it worth the risk?

Well, if you can't use it to dump drink mix and fill your water bottle, it's multi-purposes are limited. Undecided

Good questions....not disposable, but very washable and should last quite a few years.   It is also very flexible so folds up nicely in a small sandwich bag for easy storage.

I am glad you are embracing the possibilities; I would have never thought about the other "funnel" applications....

I can deal with the single task mass even if i had to carry it; the alternatives...well they just rub me the wrong way...I can think of one though...a fuel funnel after it was well rinsed...would not want to corrode the pipes yah know Wink

Did make for some keen commentary from your paddling mates though, didn't it Grin
