Will sell my pink Windpaddle Cruiser Sail (see: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) ) for best offer OR trade for one of these ((see: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) ) in decent condition.

By the way, CanoeCopia is just around the corner & has proven to be a great opportunity for these types of QJ transactions & exchanges.  I'll be there!

The sail is actually in very good condition.  It doubles as a kind of tarp that you can put over your packs at night to keep them dry.  Why is it up for barter or sale?  Let's just say my sailing skills suck.  This can be a really good deal for the right person... who has a tolerance for the color pink.  If nothing else, the rescue party won't have much trouble finding you in the wilderness!

I've actually gotten more use out of my Windpaddle Sail in local lakes versus on canoe-camping trips.  I fared better with it in my tandem with the bow paddler "sailing" & me steering from the stern.  It takes REAL talent to use this bad boy in my Prism... and real sailing talent is something I lack.

Okay, so I went ahead & bought my axe.  Now the windpaddle sail goes to highest bidder... unless somebody has something equally goofy as my windpaddle sail they wish to trade & that might be of interest to me.  And you never know what that might be!

I'm not looking for much but I'm in no rush, either.  Again, Copia would be a convenient place for such a transaction, however minor.

Yessiree, folks, that rare & much-coveted pic by KF is genuine Irvine Lake, Woodland Caribou Provincial Park canoe-sailing film footage!  Guaranteed to be the ONLY windpaddle sail in the history of man EVER to blow a vessel across this remote wilderness lake, made famous by none-other than that renowned adventurer, Martin Kehoe!!!  This sail is practically a shoe-in at the Canoeing Hall of Fame (Accessories Wing)!  AND, if the publisher of the BWJ EVER gets his butt in gear and publishes my doggone account of our harrowing, life & death, WCP survival-in-the-bush epic (which he promised would run in LAST year's spring issue) you will learn how this very sail shown in KF's pic figured into our titanic bushwhacking struggle.  Can you believe that, for the mere price of a good bottle of The Balvenie Scotch, you can even OWN this collector's item!!  Frankly, it's a matter of pure conjecture (and dumb luck) how KF even captured this remarkable shot on film since we (literally) BLEW BY his standard solo at such an incredible rate of speed!  He was just barely able to snap it off before his own vessel foundered in our tumultuous wake!   What power!  What perfect pinkness!  What a buy!!!  Can't miss it in the wilderness, folks!  Stick it on your packs to protect them from the rain, go fishing for a long afternoon on a big lake & EASILY find your way back to camp utilizing this remarkable VERY pink beacon!!  You'll never lose track of your home campsite during those dusk hours again!!  Doubles as an umbrella & kitchen tarp!  Take the sail out for a spin after the walleye bite is off in the late morning.  So you sink like the Titanic.  Who cares?!  You don't... all your friends on shore can FIND & rescue you quickly because you are the most prominent (and obnoxious) site as far as the eye can see!!  Lost in the wilderness?  Never again!!  Let those DeHavillands & Norsemen flock straight to the pink blight that marks your spot!!  Hoping to capitalize on prevailing westerlies as you exit the Ranger Station & shoot down the southern arm of Quetico Lake over to Jean Lake?  Supercharge your trip west, surf those rollers, & zip right down to Jean before your breakfast coffee even gets cold! Heck, you could be all the way down to Kawnipi by mid-afternoon!  Who needs that costly fly-in to Clay Lake?!  Park at Beaverhouse at dawn, let loose your sail, & be nailing walleyes over in Kawa Bay by dusk!!!  This is indeed the industrial-strength model that you've heard rumoured about in hushed tones over evening campfires from those who KNOW what canoe sailing is all about!  This is the stuff legends are made of (and, sometimes, fairy tales).  I've added several speed-enhancing "upgrades" that are strictly prohibited by the rules of conventional canoe-sail racing (ie. you'll get where you're going FAST!; for that matter, sometimes you'll even get where you're NOT going... but, by gosh, you'll sure as heck get there FAST!).  Just thinking about the thrills & spills gets me so excited that I'm almost tempted to change my mind about selling it even as I type this.  ALMOST... I say.  Alas, I'll still part with it as who am I to deny others the chance to experience the sensation of virtually flying  (&, sometimes, swimming) across wilderness parks?!  Have you ever considered cliff-diving?  Simply strap on this billowing jewel and take the edge off of that first leap as -theoretically - it should soften your splashdown (assuming you can learn to work the controls faster than I did)!  Other possibilities abound!  Consider seining for bait!  Water proofing the roof of that leaky tent!  Popping it open in front of a pesky bear... see how she reacts!  Sending smoke signals!  Invent your own uses!  Experience new & unusual aquatic thrills!

What's more, I GUARANTEE you'll be blown away by my product (exactly WHERE, I can't say but, by gosh, you sure WILL be going!).  So, rush now & send me your inquiries while supplies last!!!

Jimbo   Cool

P.S.  Will trade at Copia for bottle of The Balvenie (15 year, minimum) Scotch... or some item of equivalent canoeing conversational value.
