Nothing is Impossible
The Verlen Kreuger story.

This book was suggested to me by a guy on another forum who is interested in paddling my Superior Expedition boat which is akin to the Kreuger "Sea Wind". (Scott is supposed to have it in May but I suspect he has still not started..........I may have to send my boys over to have a little talk).

Anyway I promptly sent for the book which is a biography of sorts with many full color pictures.

What I came away with is truly an inspiring read. What a fascinating guy. Well researched and written. Some of the pics of the Sea wind being launched and paddled  are quite amazing. We talk about navigating the Quetico and he and a partner went through the boundary waters during a canoe race at night with a small hand held compass and a single large scale map. He was quite a guy.

He also made some fairly serious errors in judgement but people loved his positive encouraging manner.

A worthy read........especially if you want to go beyond what you might think you are ordinarily capable of.
